Analog Drums is a free Drum Rack designed to offer an alternative to the oversampled drum machines saturating the market. With samples recorded from vintage hardware synths and modern drum machines, this rack brings that quirkiness and character directly into Ableton Live. More than just a drum machine, Analog Drums is a fusion of analog drum samples and modulation capabilities, allowing you to instantly generate unique drum kits and original one-shots with a click of a button.

While the rack doesn’t come with a fancy interface like many plugins and Kontakt libraries, it offers way more in terms of flexibility and sound design. This is not your average drum rack filled with static samples — each drum cell is just a starting point that allows you to fine-tune and modulate each sound with intuitive macro controls.

Analog Drums is a flexible tool for producers and sound designers looking to inject some analog synth drums into their productions.

Features:

8 Drum Tracks: Each drum track is packed with 127 unique drum one-shots.

Over 1,000 Analog Drum One-Shots: Sourced from modern drum machines and legendary vintage analog synths like the Roland Jupiter 4, Korg Mono/Poly, Yamaha CS30L, Oberheim Xpander, Roland SH-2, Vermona Mono Lancet '15, and Elektron Analog Rytm.

Instant Drum Kit Generation: Use the Random (Rand) button to instantly generate new drum kits or individual drum hits, perfect for sparking inspiration and creativity.

Advanced Modulation Controls: Each drum element features FM and pitch modulation, filter controls, volume envelopes, and a Shaper, allowing you to modify the samples and generate thousands of unique variations.

40+ Drum Kits (Snapshots): Pre-configured kits ready to inspire your next track.

Compatibility: Fully compatible with all editions of Ableton Live 11 (or higher) — Intro, Standard, and Suite.

100% Ableton Live native

Thanks man! They even included some Ableton Projects. Being relatively new to Ableton, I really appreciate this pack! Thanks for sharing it!

My pleasure. If you're new to Ableton Live then maybe you don't know about the other Abletunes freebies yet?

After downloading these you will get another txt resource with even more freebies. Thanks for sharing these!

These are HQ! I would get 2 of the packs, but man… 63€ is a lot of money. I could get, 6 full bundles (~10 sample packs per bundle) on WA Production: 1 + 1 (free each month) for 60€. If I could have a 50% discount code, I would get 2 packs. But 15% or even 20% off is too less for me to get them.

This month, I’ve doubled the money (120€) and preferred to get Melodyne instead. IMHO it’s better value for the money.

But still, if I would get 50% off right now on Abletunes, I would instantly get 2 packs. ?

Yes, their templates are very expensive. But good. Sometimes you can get it a little cheaper, like 20% off or so. Fun anecdote: I thought their template "1982" was stolen from Marvel83's "Atlantis". But it turned out to be the opposite. The template is older than the track from "Marvel83".

If you like template/project files, I've got a few recommendations for you:

WA Production has a lot of free FL Studio templates. You can convert them to Ableton Live with https://jukeblocks.io/convert/, which usually does a good job.

Also very good value is F9 Audio Trax series, currently up to 40% off in their summer sale. Electric Disco II for example, contains 5 templates for £20.65, plus 6 startup project, and 160+ Live Racks. Or if you're into synthwave, I recommend their Grid Trilogy Deluxe edition. No plugins needed. All instruments are multipsampled Ableton Live instruments, made with Sampler, converted to Simpler, so they work with any Ableton Live edition.

You can get some free Ableton Live templates every now and then if you subscribe to the https://dawpro.co newsletter. I got Vintage Culture and Saint Jhn - Roses for free.

Synth Ctrl often has good offers for Ableton Live templates. Like right now you can get all their 10 templates in a bundle for $19.99 with the code SUMMER01, so that's only $2 per template. I wish I had gotten them that cheap ? They require Serum though.

The user Alivelooping has templates for 6€ on wemakedancemusic.com and if you sign up to the newsletter, or search for coupon codes with a search engine, you can get 50% to 60% discounts. I got Alivelooping's templates for 2.40€ each. They're not bad. The structure is a little strange to me (some tracks have MIDI notes but really the tracks are routed to play MIDI notes from a different track) and they're all themed around the love of christ and such, which isn't that appealing to me as an atheist, but they sound great and they come with vocals, which you don't often have in template files.
