Ronald Parkin Posted June 1 Share Posted June 1 I downloaded the Cakewalk Next installer from the website and the program will not install. The error message keeps popping up that says: "Next is currently running, please close the application to continue" I just paid for a subscription and I cannot even install their program. John Vere Posted June 1 Share Posted June 1 (edited) Did you restart your computer? Did you open task Manager to see if it was running and end task? Is a prompt hidden behind a open window? Noel Borthwick Posted June 2 Share Posted June 2 Did you install Next as an update from within Next itself? The process tries to first close the app before updating but if you had a project modified you have to manually close the application before installation can complete.
