When I first heard "Roar", it made me think of "We Are The Champions" right away. There was another song of Queens that I found impartation as well. However, as funny as it may sound, this may have been inspired by "Roar" as well. The song is really not about having an ego for Power. It's about believing in yourself. Having a vision and knowing that only the person that has the vision can make it happen and succeed , Win , or, loss, you have to Leave it in the lap of the Gods. No excuses .
