michaelrb Posted May 15, 2024 Posted May 15, 2024 I cloned a new c:\ (I was running out of space). When I installed the new drive everything went well except my Legacy Cakewalk now says I am not activated. How do I re-activate my account?
Corduroy Ridge Posted May 15, 2024 Posted May 15, 2024 Mine shows reactive in 9 days, unfortunately without a link to do so. Following.
Mr No Name Posted May 15, 2024 Posted May 15, 2024 have you tried through the help menu? seems to be a well known tip.
Darren McFerran Posted May 15, 2024 Posted May 15, 2024 You need to reactivate through the Bandlab assistant, under the apps tab click the "open" tab next to the Cakewalk logo and choose "Refresh Activation". 1 1

No, you don’t. Activation is now done using the Help menu. And this for some time.. J 1

msmcleod Posted May 16, 2024 Posted May 16, 2024 @michaelrb - you need to make sure you're running the very latest version of Cakewalk by BandLab. The back-end authorization servers were changed to support the new Sonar. Older versions of Cakewalk will not connect to then new server. Once you're sure you're on the latest Cakewalk, sign out from the help menu, then sign back in again from the help menu. It should automatically re-authorise. 1 1
