bayoubill Posted August 29, 2019 Posted August 29, 2019 I hope not. It may veer north away from OrlandoÂ
InstrEd Posted August 29, 2019 Posted August 29, 2019  Mar-a-Lago will be hit. Of course the man will just find another golf course to play at?  Hope all is safe and it misses land and heads back into the Atlantic Ocean Northward. We have been having to many of these.
InstrEd Posted August 29, 2019 Posted August 29, 2019 Last year Michaels impacted Key West Florida just as a tropical storm. My friends cousins family lives there. They had a mess. I don't wish a Tropical storm or hurricane on anyone.
Mesh Posted September 6, 2019 Posted September 6, 2019 Whew, I thought this blew away with Dorian.... 1
InstrEd Posted September 6, 2019 Posted September 6, 2019 I never understood why the reporters have to be out there in the storm. Just plain stupid!
InstrEd Posted September 6, 2019 Posted September 6, 2019 Of course for Mike V its already Saturday. Hope Mike had a great Friday
Mesh Posted September 9, 2019 Posted September 9, 2019 Wish it was Tuesday, but it's just another manic Monday
Bapu Posted September 9, 2019 Author Posted September 9, 2019 It's a 4 day work week for me. Three day weekend coming up. 1

I'm self-employed, it's a 7 day work week for me. Dorian gave me 4 days off - in a way. Putting the storm awnings down, putting storm panels up on the windows that don't have awnings, making sure the generator runs, getting gas, buying food, bottling water, and so on. And I did it all for nothing because it barely glanced us (Hooray!) - 50mph sustained winds recorded about a mile from here. But I only gig 2 or 3 days a week in the off-season, and that many if I'm lucky. So I'm working on making more Band-in-a-Box styles. When you're self-employed, you get to pick which 16 hours of the day you are going to work on. ? But I wouldn't trade it for a "real job".  1
