Paul Bush
Hi chaps well this is a pre-mixdown warts and all song about old aged love (myself included being now 67 years old) as always all comments are welcome , cheers paul https://www.bandlab.com/track/789d4683-8e05-ef11-aaf0-000d3aa5105b?revId=779d4683-8e05-ef11-aaf0-000d3aa5105b 1. You came at me like on a southern rain, a tornado and a freight train You looked like you had nothing to loose, worn out make up and Worn out shoes.. You hit the jukebox started dancing to some rythum ` n blues …...... Now that cant lose...... Chorus Yo u—oH Oh-Oh you got nothing else to loose And I -Aye Aye --- I could see it in your eyes Take a seat right next to me, Please dont look at me too deep Ive some scares I´m hiding from, maybe you pull me through the rain 2. You came to me on a summer breeze, just like an infectious disease Sweet and sour and firery hot, she`s got a a few miles on the clock We got the the motion , the pills and potions and its time to rock not gonna stop !... Chorus (G) (Em7) (F) (D) And we`eh weh-weh you got nothing else to loose Take it ea— easy Its the path that we can choose Take a seat right next to me, Please dont look at me too deep We got some scares We`r hiding from, Guide me through this storm and through the rain ….Bridge..... It feels like our time is running out, so many empty hour`s in a day Watching T.V. Shows how to find Mr right, or maybe even fall in love Or buying love potions from medicen man, Who doesn`t give a dam Its better than being alone all alone..... on a make believe or a dating show, ...Solo.... Chorus And we`eh weh-weh you got nothing else to lose Take it ea— easy Its the path that we must choose Take a seat right next to me, Please dont look at me too deep Ive some scares I´m hiding from,Guide me through this storm and rain …...(C)-(G)......
freddy j
This has a very nice mid-1960's pop song style to it. I like that lead break guitar work. Good work!
noynekker
Sounding really good, really like the tune ! Your voice is always top notch in my opinion, and the lyrics here work very well to define the overall song idea. As I listened a few times, I thought perhaps the arrangement could use some eighth notes to help drive it along a bit in places, as you've used so many syncopated rhythms through all the sections. Maybe eighth notes in the verse bass part, or even just hihat, might really top this piece off some. Just my humble suggestion, but for sure I enjoyed this ! . . . old school love, I remember it well . . .
Lynn Wilson
This is another solid song from you that gets my feet tapping. Good lyrics and vocals drive this tune and give it that nostalgic flavor that you are so good at. As far as the mix goes, you're in the ballpark, and I have no doubt that you'll just get better.
Wookiee
Interesting lyrics which I can relate to. Mix needs a few tweaks but you said it was a warts and all presentation. Left a comment and a like on Bandalb.

Kevin Walsh
I agree with @freddyj, it's got a great '60s feel to it that could easily fit into a pop or even Motown format with ease. The mix sounds good even in my crappy bluetooth hearing aid buds, and that takes some doing. I very much like the chords, lyrics and the arrangement. They keep my interest, and the performances are first rate. Nice tele sound in the solo. Well done!
bjornpdx
Paul, Your voice really fits the genre nicely. Great tune and arrangement too. And you have a knack with lyric phrases that stand out- "worn out make up and worn out shoes" "a few miles on the clock" Love it. Great work on this. -Bjorn
equality
I grew up with this type of music. Nice! Great vocal and arrangement. Just a tad flat in the chorus on the first "we" in my ears. Great guitar solo. ??
