OddSox Posted April 20, 2024 Posted April 20, 2024 I have a problem displaying some dialog boxes and it seems like I miss some system font on my laptop. Or is it a setting somewhere? This is what it looks like on my laptop: And this on my desktop: I am used to the look on the second picture and that is a normal, regular look for me. There first one is not ok. Anyone has any idea?
mettelus Posted April 20, 2024 Posted April 20, 2024 It is possible that is a font issue, but my hunch is that is is more likely a screen resolution issue. When increasing screen resolutions, not all fonts take kindly to that. Unfortunately setting high resolutions on a laptop can also make the screen hard to read, so there may be a balancing act to perform there. A quick check would be to set the laptop to the recommended resolution and see what it looks like. 1
OddSox Posted April 20, 2024 Author Posted April 20, 2024 (edited) No sorry that is not the case! I never changed the native recommended resolution and I also think that is a stupid idea to do so on a LCD display. Any other ideas anyone? Edited April 20, 2024 by OddSox
Glenn Stanton Posted April 20, 2024 Posted April 20, 2024 sure - share screenshots of your laptop and desktop display settings. also any video display information would help as well.
