staff view, cannot move multi-symbol

In staff view, I use select tools to select multi-symbol, and then use move tool to move them. But it does not work.

A staff view user, yay! I find it easier to cut and paste in staff view. Just select the note or notes you need and either copy/paste or cut/paste. The Move tool gives me problems also. Fortunately, there's usually another way to do it.

Hi, on Staff View Move tool won't move notes, you'll have to use Select tool to move them! See more on link below.

Also there's a bug related that won't let you move notes correctly. But as a workaround you can press Shift Key while dragging notes with Select tool.

To move several notes in the Staff view
1.Select the Select tool in the Control Bar.
2.Select the notes to be moved.
3.Click one of the selected notes.
4.Drag the notes to a new time, pitch, or staff.

I had tried the method, but it does not work.

I also use shift with select tool, but the I cannot click the confirm button  in Drag and Drop Option window even Cancel button.

My OS is Windows 10 trad-chinese.

I could reproduce the Drag and Drop bug on the Staff View!

However I would suggest you to disable the Ask Every Time option when using Drag and Drop for moving notes!
