When i Combining clips, i lose the plugin and have to reload it.

Hi all, when i combine two clips, for example i record guitar parts for 1 verse and chorus of a track and then just copy and paste to lengthen the song, when i select both clips and right click to bounce to clips, i lose the guitar vst assigned to that track and have to delete and re add the vst otherwise i just get the raw guitar sound. very frustrating, any help please.

What synth, and what exactly does "lose the guitar vst" mean? Are you seeing the patch or FX parameters change or something else? Also, if you watch the Event List is the channel or velocity of notes or anything else changing when you bounce?

Just tried it and I am not seeing that behaviour here.

Can you give us more information?

Are you sure you’re using track FX not clip FX
