Gswitz
I've ordered a 12u rack for home. I like to record out and take 6u when I go. Everything is wired together. I'm thinking of using blanks to get under all the ears and lift and move them between racks as a group... both racks laid on their backs so I lift and lower verticallyc all 6u without unhooking them from each other. I'm guessing someone here has faced an issue like this who can't just have doubles of all the hardware. Anyone got a better idea?
Bapu
If it were me, I'd put the 6u travelling units in an SKB case and then I'd build an extra wide custom cabinet that is about 13u tall with only 6u rails (with proper spacing due to the extra size wide nature of the cabinet) at the top with enough space to put out the SKB case at will. Gswitz
Ah. Nice idea but the skb case doesn't fit in the spot. It is a few centimeters too wide. Edited January 1 by Gswitz

You just need to buy more gear! (And a new house! ? ) ?
