At one time I remember needing Quicktime for Sonar.  Is this still the case or has it finally moved on?

I still have Quicktime installed even though Apple no longer updates it as I have one program,  "Discus" (CD and Jewel Case design and printing) that requires it.

I do not have QuickTime on my DAW and i been running the last 3 versions of Cakewalk/Sonar/Bandlab just fine.

Come to think of it, i never had QuickTime installed on any of my PC's/DAW's

I remember needing it back in the days when there were multiple CD discs for a  Sonar install (Sonar 6/7/8 era).  Could have been for some add-on that was supplied with Sonar.

The optional dll was for Quicktime video support in the DAW. Other than that, nothing shipped with SONAR that used it. Of course, it was 32bit only because Apple never ported the Windows dll to 64bit. Don't recall when it was discontinued in SONAR. My guess is X1. I moved to 64bit with X1 so I cannot say for sure when they stopped including the dll.
