SERGIO H F BARROS
I am trying to work with both audio interface at same time (Line6 UX8 + Behringer UMC-1820 ) to get 16 ch for recording. Cakewlak do not allow to use both audio interfaces with ASIO (Line6 drive). I have tried ASIO4ALL with no success. Any idea if it would be possivel using another dirve? Both surface works good when swap to each other and both are connected at sae time to laptop using USB. Line6 UX8 do not have adat connect option. Try the other available drivers. Welcome to the forum.
John Vere
I have used 2 totally different interfaces together to record live bands but as said you have to try the different audio driver modes. Problem is a lot of older devices don’t support WASAPI. So I use WDM mode. Then you use ASIO back in the studio to edit and produce the finished songs. A tip to save trouble is make sure you get this all set up and tested at home. Make a project template and set up all the inputs and name tracks. Get as much prep done as you can. But always have the 2 interfaces powered up before you open Cakewalk then stay in that driver mode and then load the project or you will have to redo all the inputs again.
