Someone please talk me into, or out of, the reverb Pro-R2

I have, use, and love pro-eq3, pro-L2, pro-mb, and Timeless 3.

I've got a squad of good rvbs already, including Raum, Sonsig A, blackhole, breeze, plates by waves and soundtoys, the Liquidsonics one. Please tell me to move along, nothing to see here on the R2.

You can always demo it. For me, this sometimes makes the GAS evaporate, as the product I demo doesn't give me anything new.  It can play out in both directions,  however.

There was what felt like an 80% consensus on GS that Pro-R 2 is nothing special, especially if you already own other quality reverbs. It's a good but not great sounding reverb packaged neatly.

That said, I don’t own it and haven't demoed it, so what do I know.

I think Pro-R2 is pretty amazing and easily one of my go-to's now..

I really like ProR2, but still find myself going back to character reverbs or Arturia Intensity.  I think it’s more habit than anything.  I’ve heard ProR2 described as “sterile” more than once but will give it more air time soon.
 

That said, my target reverb now is Cinematic Rooms or Seventh Heaven Pro when BF comes around.  Missed out last year, but really loved the trials for both.
