Cliff Scholes Posted December 12, 2023 Posted December 12, 2023 Hi. Im having a time line select issue. My project is only 3 ish mins long. but when I do a "Shift + F" to bring the whole project into view its show me over 30mins.. Any ideas guys?
0 reginaldStjohn Posted December 12, 2023 Posted December 12, 2023 This is usually because there is an automation node, event or other item along the timeline. Go to where you want the end of the song, select all, then select in the timeline from the end of your song all the way to the end of your view and hit delete. Other suggest having Ripple Edit All on when doing this as well.
0 Byron Dickens Posted December 13, 2023 Posted December 13, 2023 ⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️ That's where my money is too; some kind of MIDI event way on down the line.
0 sjoens Posted December 13, 2023 Posted December 13, 2023 Tho this is usually the case, I'd like to know how one got waaay down there! I often create an arranger section from song's end to as far as needed, then activate all 4 Select Module buttons, then select the arranger section and delete it.
0 Cliff Scholes Posted December 31, 2023 Author Posted December 31, 2023 Thanks guys..lol life saver. I to have NO CLUE how it got all the way there. Plus! Its showing nothing there. no event of anything at all..lol. odd. But now fixed. thanks again.

A tempo track node way out in the timeline will also cause this, in which case Ripple All helps ensure the node is included.
