Can't open the EQ FX in the ProChannel

Question

Posted

When I created this EQ I thought I just double clicked it and it opened in a bigger window and I could change it.

Now I am double clicking on it and it won't open. How do I open this?

It's things like this where I think I learn the program and then try to use it again and the behavior for one simple thing is seemingly different that drives me nuts.

In the Inspector section, you must be viewing the ProChannel first, not channel strips.  Then the EQ will pop out on dbl-clik.

Of the 5 buttons at the top of that view, the PC is the far right one.

Yes, it's confusing.

The Channel Strip EQ seems to be a visual aid that indicates if there is a ProChannel EQ active, but in order to access the EQ you must activate Pro Channel.

It would be more logical to be able to double click the EQ and this should activate and open the PC EQ .

The ability to double click on the EQ display when ProChannel is closed and have it show the expanded EQ UI is a long requested feature. So long requested that those who requested it despair of it ever actually being implemented.
