If you're too busy to read it, it essentially says... AI/Added Features = Increase in subscription price.  That's why subscriptions, for the most part, are never a good thing.  They can easily raise the price on a whim.  And if you ever cancel your subscription, you can't re-open your old projects.

The greediness is real. 

As much as possible, try not to support greedy companies.

We're talking about a magazine subscription in this case though. That's a whole different thing.

I don't see any risk. Subscribe for a year, pay it in one go, cancel it right after subscribing so that you don't forget to do so in a year.

And you get a new freebie every month, a new Zampler expansion every month and a ton of free samples. You get to keep everything after the subscription: the magazine issues, the freebies, the samples.

Exactly. Pay your $80 to get Lustrous plates at a major discount, treat a year's mag subscription as a bonus, and wash your hands of it. If I wasn't chock full of good plate verbs it's probably what I'd do.

Lustrous plates is my least favorite of their plugins. It was fun playing with the different metals, but it never ended up in a template or song.
