Jay Jimenez
Hello everyone! I am not sure if this is the proper forum for my question. I'm relatively new to Cakewalk and I am using Sonar Platinum. My quesion is, there is this line/bar on a track pane and whenever I copy another clip from another track, it pastes it into this "line" and not on my intended measure. I hope anyone can help with this. Thank you
mettelus
Check the clip properties in the Inspector (hotkey "I" toggles the inspector off/on... and then the "clip" tab at the top in your picture in the upper left). Do you have a "snap offset" value showing in that? IIRC, if that value is anything other than zero it will show a vertical line in the track view to reference where the offset lands. If you snag Cakewalk by BandLab while it's still free, you'll have everything in SONAR Platinum plus 5+ years of bug fixes and new features. As a free upgrade. Sheens
welcome new Cakewalker toggle the snap button in control bar from 'by' ->'to' (currenty your moving BY measures, not pastingTO measures). David Baay
That line indicates you have an old, seldom-used Enhanced Keyboard Editing mode enabled. Numkey 0 (zero) toggle it on/off.
