hockeyjx Posted September 5, 2023 Posted September 5, 2023 Smash Mouth had some really good songs. Steve was a big part of their sound. And even though he apparently had addiction issues in the past, 56 is WAY too young. R.I.P. 1
Jim Roseberry Posted September 5, 2023 Posted September 5, 2023 Knew a beautiful young lady who had a bad drinking issue. Most folks didn't know... because she hid it well. She became very ill... to where her boyfriend finally took her to the hospital. There was nothing doctors could do... her liver was gone. Passed away at ~35 years old. Several years later... still shake my head in disbelief... and wonder what her life might have been. 1 2

Several years later... still shake my head in disbelief... and wonder what her life might have been. Yep. Knew a guy who everyone liked that had the same thing happen. Found out he had inherited a lot of money in his early 20's allowing him to drink all the time and, by the time he was 30, his organs had just had enough and started shutting down. Sad, but that was their lesson for this life time! 1
