Gotta wonder about the marketing guys sometimes!!

I laughed at them on the Presonus Facebook page...
They said...well they're only looking for NEW customers...
It's called "business"!

WHY would you not want NEW customers who CROSSGRADE
from existing DAW's?  WHY would you not want your existing
Artist users to UPGRADE to the Pro version?

Pretty idiotic if you ask me...but what do I know?

is the code working on add on?s

NOPE...Only on NEW Purchases of S14...NOTHING ELSE!

I posted this on the Presonus Facebook page

Consider the ABSURDITY of not wanting people to crossgrade from their CURRENT DAW...is that not a NEW Customer?

And WHY would you NOT want your existing Artist Customers to UPGRADE?

Marketing hacks....that's all it is. Clueless degreed individuals who don't have a clue what they're doing!

You are THE person that knows! Are they not aware of the infamous deals forum? You should probably be doing their job.

Although I have Studio One V2 and V3 pro, I cannot upgrade for a number of reasons, the predominant one being I absolutely hate their GUI. So glad to get away from it actually. I know I am in the minority there though, just not a fan of flat dark GUI's.

Nope...not alone...I'm not a fan either.  I like the program, but the GUI
isn't a winner IMO...it looks like a bad cartoon to me...but, as you said,
we're in the minority

iain't gonna trip , their prices are alwayz fair compared to other brands , updates are free until next version ect ....so fair enougth ...

I too agree with this. Despite what I said about existing users not being rewarded (which is mostly the message on Twitter), I'm not upset about it; just as I'm not upset about occasional offers from other companies that throw in a freebie to tempt new customers (I could name one right now, but it's probably not nice to name names).

I'm just happy that I'm not tied to using a USB dongle with my DAWs (this is my personal preference - some people love them; each to their own), and that I'm not charged for non-major version updates.
