Thank you!  I usually write out a piano part for the vocal first...and one phrase sets it off.  For this one, it started with 'I see the future', and 'if I had a buffalo nickel'

Very nice piece. Lots of changes. Excellent mix, all instruments clear and well balanced. Agree with the message of the lyrics, gotta shine through a whole lot of uselessness that is thrown at us in life????

 What a Wonderful song! I Loved the way you sang the first verses putting the impact in different spots. You sure packed a lot of cool instrumentation in this one .  It was light and inspirational  , and for some reason ..  I envisioned "Kermit the Frog" singing it. I hope you take that as a compliment ..     I Loved the Beatle ish quality.      mark

Now you've done it - I can't get that video of Kermit singing 'Shine when others tell you...'  and 'Maybe I'll get Henry' - I have a perfect movie running in my head!

Great lyrics Steve. I like how the lyrics and music work together to make a fun song.
Not sure what it says about me but I thought the Sharon Tate part was funny.  Kind of unexpected lyric I guess.

Yeah Bjorn! - I got to that part and was going through rhymes ... rate..sate...tate.  Thought, oh I couldn't, oh I shouldn't...oh I MUST!

That's the good thing about getting old, you don't care so much about what other people think of you.  You do what is core you.

Funny.  I also pictured Animal going nuts on the drums behind Kermit (and maybe miss Piggy on harmonies)
