computer keyboard as a midi conyroler ?

hi guys how does one set up computer keyboard  to act like a midi controller  reason I have captain chords and your suppose to be able to do that however no luck on using bandlab so far  any thoughts what am I doing wrong eric

A Virtual Controller/Keyboard is built into CbB

Read this post for info on how to setup plug-ins that send MIDI data

To drive plug-ins like Captain Chords with a PC keyboard use the built-in virtual keyboard as the instrument track input.
