martsave martin s Posted August 14, 2019 Posted August 14, 2019 is there a way to integrate foobar2000?
scook Posted August 14, 2019 Posted August 14, 2019 Probably best to keep all discussion about my tools in this thread Regarding adding foobar2000 - Any program may be added to the Utilities menu. If the program accepts a wav file as a command line argument, the clip may be passed to the program by setting the Type drop down in ToolEditor to WaveEditor. That said, I have not tested foobar2000 either as a Generic or WaveEditor type.
martsave martin s Posted August 14, 2019 Author Posted August 14, 2019 it open foobar but it do not play..

scook Posted August 14, 2019 Posted August 14, 2019 With audio programs make sure their setup does not conflict with the DAW. Also, it is not clear what "does not play" means. Play what, a clip from project, a project, an audio file loaded using the foobar UI.

scook Posted August 14, 2019 Posted August 14, 2019 Two conditions must be met for clips to load into a program added to the Utilities menu The Type field in the ToolsEditor must be set to WaveEditor and The program must accept a wav file as a command line argument. Sometimes this may require additional switches on the the program command line. These switches may be added to the Args entry in ToolEditor

scook Posted August 14, 2019 Posted August 14, 2019 It depends on the program. I do not use foobar2000. It may not have the ability to run audio from the command line.
