NOTHING happened on October 10th, 1582 (or on any day from October 5th thru the 14th in the year 1582), because those dates never existed! As part of migrating from the Julian Calendar to the Gregorian Calendar, those dates were skipped to bring the dates back in line with the seasons since the Earth actually takes 365.2425 days to make a year. For his efforts, Bill is awarded a handful of becan seeds! Enjoy Bill! ? 2
