Craig N
Its more expensive the older your Korg Collection is. I am happy to keep mine up to date at $49 each time. 3 new synths for $49 seems good value to me. As usual it's a bit tricky to do the upgrade: Login to your Korg ID https://id.korg.com/ Then go to the Offers page. Copy the code provided and visit the link they provide to buy the relevant upgrade product. Add it to your cart and add the coupon you copied. Then checkout. After checking out, get the product serial from the order details and add that to the Korg Software Pass app with the Register New Product button at the top. If you want to check out the details the upgrade products are here: https://korg.shop/software/korg-collection/upgrade-products.html

Vernon Barnes
As I bought piecemeal there is no upgrade option. I may have been tempted by the Oddessy but I recently got the Behringer hardware recreation so I will pass.

I only have M1 LE https://korg.shop/korg-collection-4-crossgrade.html That's how I bought the bundle originally back in 2020. Got a free M1 LE Key with a miniature midi keyboard, and waited for the sale and upgraded for $199. Since then the collection has grown twice and I've paid $49 twice to upgrade it. So total outlay has been $298. To put that into perspective in that time I also bought Arturia's V Collection for $299 and upgraded it twice for $129 and $99. Total outlay $527. V Collection had been $249 to buy in the year before I first bought it, so it has gone up by $50 in a similar timeframe. Unlike many other companies in this business, Korg only charges for the new products they've added to the bundle. Updates to existing products are free. And on sale the upgrade price is quite reasonable. That's the kind of business model I'm happy to get on board with and to support. 3

Seems quite strange for the upgrade from 3 to suddenly be magically unavail

If you want to check out the details the upgrade products are here: https://korg.shop/software/korg-collection/upgrade-products.html I’m thinking the ordering and installing process has to be better at this point. I bought the Korg Collection 2 a couple years ago. I’m still traumatized to this day from the experience. Multiple confusing steps to place an order - then after ordering that led to needing to register at another site. Once putting codes at the other site it was confusing about getting the products. Once downloaded there were some legacy products that didn’t work and I needed to download some third-party wrapper tool to allow them to read as VSTs. I got it to work after all that. But I’m queasy about updating. Maybe Korg Collection 5! Edited July 31, 2023 by lawajava 1
