I've never had this before.  With snap enabled in the PRV, and 'snap to' I can drag notes to wherever I like in a current project and there is no 'tugging'!  The note goes where I put the cursor and won't pull to the correct snap positon.  Have I accidentally turned something else off that is affecting this?

... but just noticed that if you move a note in PRV by clicking and then slowly moving the mouse, the snap to grid seems to be disabled temporarily. Not sure if this is intended behavior or not.

You may want to double-check your snap intensity setting in Preferences. If it accidentally got set to Light, as shown below, you wont have any detectable snap.

That's what I'm getting. ?

Tim, I have my snap intensity at 'Extreme'.

I can't reproduce your issue.  Snap has never worked 100% for me in Track View or PRV but it normally works as expected.

When Global Snap is on and PRV Snap is off, notes can be moved more freely with less 'magnetic pull'. When both Snaps are on, notes are pulled to the set resolution.

Are Global and PRV Snap set to the same resolution?

As I understand, the PRV Snap only provides the option to configure a different snap resolution from the track view. Say in track view you set snap to measure, and in PRV sanap to quarter note. But the main Snap button must be engaged.
