Gone Are The Days version 2

I've done a mix of this song with a sprinkling of AI on the piano track that makes it sound a bit more Rick Wakeman and a bit less Les Dawson. Gone are the drums and bass on this one too. Same video as the original, more or less.

Your high register vocal reminds me a lot  of Rodger Waters and the guitar solo is really nice! A beautiful song indeed!

Hey Keith, that is really nice writing. As I was watching the video and listening, I was thinking how different and yet so familiar each of our lives and experiences play out. There was a noticeable mix of joy and sadness in the tune. I get that same feeling too, when I think of all the people, places and things I have done in my life. Bittersweet. But that all goes away, when I'm around the younger generation. I can tap into their optimism in such a way that it makes me feel young again. Very nice, Keith! Good job !

Hi Keith, i definitely prefer this version. What did you use on the Piano (AI wise)?

Sounds really good now, although you may need to revisit the lyrics after Elton's performance at Glastonbury?

This is a nice version - I liked the original.

I probably said this before but we must be about the same age - lots of British references from my youth. Angel Delight eh - do they still make it?

Thant was fun, a lovely tune (and killer vocal) Keith. What a nice group of people (judging by pictures!) . . . seems like a life was well lived here. More than one, actually!

Came back for a second listen - I enjoyed the original but I think this version is even better - video was just great and really added some context (I think I could create something similar from my own family history).
