I really dug the Eurythmics and the original song and whilst I am not a big fan of Marylin Manson I think this cover was much more suited to the lyrics. I'm sure some of you will think this belongs in the "other" thread though . . .

Fizzy Pickle (link in my signature) did a cover of this choon recently.

Although done on stage first by Mitzi Green thought to be the original recording...

The Lady Is A Tramp - Tommy Dosey Clambake Seven featuring Edyth Wright

Cover by Buddy Greco who also played the piano on the cut

Three Dog Night - Mama Told Me Not To Come

I knew that Randy Newman wrote this song , but thought that his version came out after it was a hit with Three Dog Night.

So, I looked it up and just learned that Randy Newman gave it to Eric Burdon to record first.

Does that make Randy Newman's version a cover of a cover?

I never noticed this before but Bun E Carlos looks like he should be complaining about how someone took his red stapler or that the ratio of people to cake is too big.

Surprised nobody has mentioned this cover of an Al Green Song...

I don't like TH, but that's a good cover.
