GTsongwriter Posted June 16, 2023 Posted June 16, 2023 I remember a plugin company requiring me to install PACE software on my PC, but I forgot which plugin. Is there a way to me to figure out which plugin it was? Maybe y'all can help by listing plugin companies that require PACE ilok software or how I can hunt down which plugin it was? I'm planning to get a ilok USB for" Vienna Symphonic Library Big Bang Orchestra: Ymir Children's Choir" and was thinking of combining them into the same USB. The children's choir is for a Christmas song I'm working on. Many thanks will be given for any advice!
scook Posted June 16, 2023 Posted June 16, 2023 Yes, the location and status of all of your iLok licenses should be displayed in the iLok license manager. 1
GTsongwriter Posted June 17, 2023 Author Posted June 17, 2023 The problem is I think I let the software company create me an account and install PACE ilok software... Although, I can't seem to locate PACE or ilok on my system... Either I uninstalled it or it's hiding somewhere?
scook Posted June 17, 2023 Posted June 17, 2023 AFAIK iLok account creation is not automatic. Some installers include the iLok License manager some don't. The link above is the current version. But that is as far as plug-in developers go when it comes to creating iLok accounts. You still would have to create an iLok account to use the license manager. Companies use this account to deposit licenses. Alternately, they may supply a one-time activation code which allows you to create the license in your iLok account. Here is a link to iLok account/password recovery https://help.ilok.com/faq_account.html#forgot_password
