I Walk On Guilded Splinters - Dr. John

I have no idea what he is singing about, I never really listened to the words, I'm too interested in what the musicians and background singers are doing. The song is nothing more than a delightful trance to me.

Nice one Jackson

My dad had a collection of Spike Jones records, and this reminds me of Dad. Silliness and music combined. My dad played trumpet, violin, ukulele, and in his later years organ.

I've not heard this one yet, but I have appreciated some of the other works by The Residents (some more than others), this one seems like it might be quirky-fun, so let's give it a go, shall we?

Well IMHO it wasn't the best song by The Residents.

Here is one of my favorite Paul Desmond songs. Dave Brubeck and the others do a fine job backing him up :D

Blue Rondo à la Turk - The Dave Brubeck Quartet

That was back when the world was in black and white :)

We know it is, Bob. That's the fifth time you've posted it in 16 months. :D

And I might post it again. I do listen to songs more than once. ?

Here is a nice symphony by a romantic Russian master. I don't think I've posted this one before, and it'll keep me entertained for about a half hour

Symphony #2 (Antar) - Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov
