Wibbles Posted November 13, 2019 Posted November 13, 2019 (edited) I was digging though a box of old singles earlier today ... (From before I was born) Edited November 16, 2019 by Wibbles 1
Leadfoot Posted November 13, 2019 Posted November 13, 2019 I've been in a Buddy Holly kick lately... 1
Notes_Norton Posted November 14, 2019 Posted November 14, 2019 Little Richard - The Formative Years 1951 - 1953 Some surprising good blues here before he was a rock n roll pioneer. Keep it playing for the full album if you like. 1
Notes_Norton Posted November 15, 2019 Posted November 15, 2019 (edited) The Arabian Nights, complete Ballet in two Acts - Fikret Amirov If you have the time check this out. He combines Azerbaijani folk music melodies and harmonies with Soviet Era symphonic composition style. If I were to have 10 desert island music CDs, this would definitely be in the collection. It's brilliant! Edited November 15, 2019 by Notes_Norton

Wibbles Posted November 15, 2019 Posted November 15, 2019 Time for an obscure Factory band (shambolic and largely unlistenable): Smack me hairy noodles?

Wibbles Posted November 16, 2019 Posted November 16, 2019 I never expected to see Gary Clail on these pages. I got to see him live a couple of times back in '93.

It's brilliant! It got interrupted before it was done yesterday, so I'm listening to it again today, hopefully until completion.
