Boss ME-80 Audio Driver Issue

Hi,

Does anyone know why my Boss ME-80 is greyed out in the audio devices section on both the input and output drivers section whilst my Focusrite 414 is showing ok?

I am trying to record via USB from the ME-80, any ideas?

Chances are CbB is running in ASIO driver mode.

Unlike the native Windows driver modes, you may only use one ASIO driver at a time. 

To change ASIO drivers deselect BOTH the current input and output preferences THEN make the new selection.

The only reason it shows up is because you’ve installed the USB driver and connected the unit to your PC/laptop via USB.  If you don’t connect it then it won’t show up in CbB

Instead go line out from the ME to an input on your Focusrite. Select that input in your recording track, arm it then record away. This is how i record guitar into CbB.
