Battery Acorn - Electronic someting or other

I'm never sure about genres. I'm just trying to make something that keeps me entertained. I hope it keeps you somewhat entertained, too.

Is that from NI Battery?  
This is one of those genres I've never tried. I like the contrast between the tricky beats in the background and the more sedate melody on top.

Yes, I used NI Battery for this.  The main kit I used was the arcocen kit.  My younger son saw it and said you should name it Battery Acorn.  And so I did.

The way you panned the cool synth stabs really pleases me.  This song is full of rich textures of which I'm a big fan.  All in all, mesmerizing and trippy!

The basic structure is familiar musical territory I use myself but the motif's you insert are really tasteful, well constructed and well played. I'd consider writing additional music and add a couple of minutes????

Thanks, I really appreciate the listen and the comments. 

I work so slowly it takes me forever to finish a song.  And the last one I worked on seemed to take forever.  So I made a conscious decision to do a few shorter songs, so I can maybe work on a few different things.
