bassface
Hi all..you know how when you have imported a drum loop wav and groove clipped it you can click and drag to increase the number of loops ( one loop to e.g. 60 loops) how do i do this without turning the loop into a groove clip ..is it possible? or do i have to copy and paste the same loop 60 times

scook
set "Link to Original Clip(s)" along with the number of Repetitions using Paste Special
bassface
thanks just had a look at that ..it still looks like it creates "copies" of the clips not repeating the one original clip. what i want to avoid is filling my hard drive with thousands of loops in cake work files i figure i can do that by using one instance of a loop and repeating it. scook
To avoid copying imported audio, turn Always copy imported audio files off. Keep in mind this forces CbB to use absolute file references to the imported audio clips instead of the relative file references used when audio is copied into the project. As a result projects are dependent on the imported audio directory structure.
David Baay
Unmodified copies of a clip, whether linked or not, will always reference a single copy of the source file, whether it's the original file in a loop collection, or a single copy saved in the project audio folder the first time it's imported. Don't worry, be happy, make music. ;^) Edited August 6, 2019 by David Baay
Lee D
Why don't you want to use groove clips? This is what it is for...
