Good work Keith. The composition and performances perfectly capture nostalgia and melancholy. Nice vox, piano, lead guitar work...the whole production works????

Nice song, like the strings and guitar. The old days are definitely gone unfortunately . The reverb is a bit much for me and 5 minutes tests my short attention,  but who cares it's your song.

personally, I would nix the drum until :58

nice guitar at 142, might even nix the drums there, or maybe not so full

def nix the drums at 228, maybe put in a cello for perc

Yeah I did wonder if it was a bit long. I'm still pondering that one, and I don't normally go in for the wall of sound approach but it seems to fit the topic quite well IMO ?

That's the point of the story being told; the guy is lamenting the often mundane and absurd aspects of his life because he is dying, so his days are gone and the realisation has hit him hard.

Great tune.  I loved the opening piano and the vocals sound great, but I'd second the notion that the reverb could be dialed back a skosh.
