I just belatedly found out that one of my absolute heroes Pat Fish aka The Jazz Butcher died last October. He provided the soundtrack for so much of my life.

They say never meet your heroes. Well I was lucky enough to share a drink and have a chat with Pat on a couple of occasions and he was the nicest bloke you could possibly hope to meet. RIP Pat.
