Max Arwood
Is there a plug-in that can time delay a track further than your typical phase alignment plugins?
Glenn Stanton
technically you could use a plain old delay plugin and turn off the dry signal. most like if i was trying to align tracks i'd start by moving the clip(s) Edited February 14, 2023 by fossile
Max Arwood
I was wanting to try a mix trick I saw on Youtube. He used Waves Soundshifter, but it only does pitch in Cakewalk. Time only in Pro Tools
scook
How much delay do you need? Eventide Precision Time Align is +- 10ms. Of course, you can stack them in the FX Rack. Or set the nudge values in CbB Preferences as needed then nudge the clip(s). Channel Tools may be an option too. 1

Terry Kelley
Sonitus Delay in manual mode will do what you want. It will go down to .1ms and up to eternity. Edited February 15, 2023 by Terry Kelley
Max Arwood
WOW!!! Thanks. Now I get to pick. I'm going to try them all. I was watching a video by Mark Daniel Nelson. He was mixing 3 bass sources in a song. Amped, DI, Synth. I like the way it sounded. The synth bass was panned hard left and right. Each side was delayed by a small amount. I know that there are phase issues and mono compatibility problems too. I have a song that has the same 3 bases and I wanted to see what it would sound like in my song. Tried one and it came out nice. I need to play with the other VSTs and see which would work easier. FULL COURSE: Mixing Colbie Caillat's "Goldmine" with Marc Daniel Nelson There is some nice stuff in this Mix Class. Take a listen. Thanks to all. Glenn Stanton
using the time delays across sources can create a nice chorus effect by design...
