Max Arwood
What is the best way to revert take lanes back to audio tracks. What is the best way to even the volumes of take lanes. (I found a couple of threads on this). Comping seems to crash frequently when using the right arrow.
sjoens
Take Lanes are audio tracks. To combine them all, Bounce To Clips or Bounce To Tracks.
Max Arwood
I just want to remove some of them to edit the audio, then put them back.
sjoens
I'm not sure what you mean but you can move them to a new track so the other clips aren't affected, then move them back.
Max Arwood
Yes, thanks. I have used Cakewalk for many years. When Comping 1st came out, I tried it, but it crashed too much. Just now trying it again, LOL! I didn't know that I could just drag clips back and forth from the comping tracks.
Lord Tim
Back when it first came in it worked pretty differently and had its quirks. I can't remember when it got the big overhaul (X3? SPlat?) but that helped somewhat, and a hell of a lot of bugs were squished since Bandlab took ownership - I know I've personally reported a fair few myself. I still have a couple of nitpicks but it's generally really stable these days.
