Trevor Posted July 20, 2019 Posted July 20, 2019 Hey all, am I crazy or isn't there a keyboard shortcut to insert bars into your project? for instance if I have a finished arrangement and I just want to scoot the whole thing over a measure or two to add an intro? Used to know it but couldn't find it in documentation. Thanks!
chuckebaby Posted July 20, 2019 Posted July 20, 2019 No shortcut that I know of to move all tracks down the Timeline unless you plan on using the nudge keys, which is not really practical for moving a whole project 1 measure. I use ripple edit. It was made for things like this.
scook Posted July 20, 2019 Posted July 20, 2019 Yes, Ripple Edit is the new way. Insert Time/Measures still works but AFAIK there is no factory supplied shortcut. The function is exposed in keyboard shortcut preferences allowing the user to create their own shortcut. Search the Global Bindings area for "time" and "Project | Insert Time/Measures" should be fourth on the list.
