Not all systems are compatible with dual sided M.2 drives, hence the question I suspect.

It’s more common of an issue with laptops.

They are internal, they look like slim laptop SATA hard drives.

I have 870's in 250GB, 1TB and 2TB (Whoops, the 2TB is an 860). Never an issue here with one.
With the price protection I guess its a no-brainer.

I found out today I need at least a 4TB SSD for my needs. 

Toontrack SDX libraries weigh a ton (and they are the best by a mile).

My favorite is Progressive Foundry so far.

When I built my machine a few years ago I went with 1tb for sample drive, never ever thinking I would use it all.

Sample Tank 3 and 4 take up most of it.
