Is there an easier way to create and edit drum maps for Cakewalk instead of using the Drum Map Manager? I'd like to edit an Addictive Drums Map I made a while ago, but I'm finding doing it within Cakewalk tedious and tiring.  Any suggestions for doing it outside of Cakewalk would be appreciated.

That only helps to speed up assigning the output of the map, but thanks for your input.

The tedious part is the individual notes themselves and the specific names. Almost done anyway.

Thanks!!!

Uhm. I didn't thought that way. Entering drum names always an issue in every editor if you do it from scratch. Maybe you can use Step Sequencer Templates instead of  Drum Maps. I only use Drum Maps to create Step Sequencer Templates in a fast way.

By the way the one you asked can already made by someone else:

If you go to Cakewalk Knowledge Base you'll find "Setting up a drum map for Addictive Drums 2 in Sonar" by Joey Adams.

A very simple and easy  way to get what you want.

Tedious

Yeah, before we had the luxury of Articulation Maps, I used drum map for mapping articulations for EWQLSO Platinum Orchestra

From memory, I had to set up 34 different maps, all manually.

Ahhhh, the good old days!!! ? At least I got it done now. Where can I find the articulations for the EWQLSO Platinum Orchestra? I have the EWQL Symphonic Orchestra and could probably use some articulations. Thanks in advance!
