PaperBag
Hi, I want to make a more complicated drum loop that contain different pitches of the same 808 drum sample. However, I really can't find a way to do it. It seems that I cannot edit the audio clip in any way: can't open it in piano roll view and change the pitch. Is it possible to do it in Cakewalk? Thx for answering.
1 scook
The PRV is a MIDI editor and cannot directly affect audio data. Cakewalk does not have a sampler but there are several free plug-ins that will do the job. In this case, Sitala looks like a good fit. Another frequently mentioned free sampler is TX16Wx. 1
0 RBH
If you have any familiarity with Melodyne - you can alter audio note pitch with it as well. Good idea to search for Cakewalk or sonar tutorials -there are lots of you tube videos that are applicable to the current CbB.
