RexRed Posted November 6, 2022 Posted November 6, 2022 Hey awesome Cakewalk peeps! Here is my latest song, I hope you enjoy this new tune. Lots of love and best to you! Rex 2
Bajan Blue Posted November 7, 2022 Posted November 7, 2022 Hi Rex I like this, think it has good potential - liked the extended harmony parts - only thing , I did think I heard some heavy auto tuning in those parts? otherwise very nice Nigel 2
RexRed Posted November 7, 2022 Author Posted November 7, 2022 Bajan Blue, I am still working out the harmonies at the end. Some of them may have shifted to the wrong step. I will go over this song one more time before final publishing. Thanks for your input, it is very helpful. ? 1
Guest Posted November 7, 2022 Posted November 7, 2022 Enjoyed this one, needs a touch of polish as Nigel says but has all the ingredients for another classic. Andy
MichaelJohn Posted November 8, 2022 Posted November 8, 2022 (edited) very nice, enjoyed it! great work on the vocal parts! Like the organ! Edited November 8, 2022 by MichaelJohn 1
Keith Wilby Posted November 8, 2022 Posted November 8, 2022 Very very nice indeed, I wish I could write a ballad like that. As Bajan Blue has noted (do you you see what I did there? ?) one or two harmony issues to sort but it's a track to be proud of for sure, well done. 1
Jesse Screed Posted November 8, 2022 Posted November 8, 2022 you have a nice voice, and compose a sweet musical story. 1
SUPAREELS Posted November 10, 2022 Posted November 10, 2022 Boy I love this track ...brings a tear.... the chorus makes a beautiful song complete. What harmonizer do you use ? ATB Steve 1
Paul Bush Posted November 10, 2022 Posted November 10, 2022 As always fantastic vocals your voice really has feeling , wasnt overly keen on the solo guitar maybe nyon without the chourus pedal would have been a better choice just my taste on it ... lovely song 1 1
Lynn Wilson Posted November 10, 2022 Posted November 10, 2022 Many of your songs are hauntingly beautiful, and this is one of them! Great job on stretching your voice and arrangements, and trying out new ideas all the time. We can all use some of that. 1
RexRed Posted November 13, 2022 Author Posted November 13, 2022 Wow! Your comments are all very nice, I am very honored by these flattering remarks from Cakewalk people whom I truly admire! I went through and found the harmonies that were off and I think I fixed them. As for a harmonizer, I do not use one. I am fortunate to be able to hit a lot of really high pitches with my natural voice. I am really glad you have liked this song and I hope my latest edits have given the song the attention it has really required. I thank you for the really kind comments and I am also very grateful for the honest tips that help me exceedingly great to get these songs right before they hit the streaming services. Love and big hearts to you all! Sincerely RexRed
