Conteloto
I have several usb mics, they all works right in other applications, for example audacity... But Cakewalk say it cannot use it because "driver problems" or because "the mic is being used for another app" Do you have a similar problem? Any way yo fix it? thanks. reginaldStjohn
Please check out the tutorials section of this forum for how to setup your audio devices. You could also check out the documentation Depending on the driver used by your USB mic you will have to pick an appropriate driver mode for Cakewalk to use in the Preferences. If Windows is using that device as well you have to pick a driver mode that can "share" the device like WASAPI shared.
Noel Borthwick
Are you using the mic in WASAPI shared mode? Thats the reliable mode to use USB mic devices. I have a mic hooked up right now and it works fine (Shure MV-88)
