sadicus
I think this might be where AUX and Patch point are used , but so far I can only get Bounce to track to work if there is already MIDI to work with. How to setup Cbb to record a Simple Instrument track in Real-time? (not to record MIDI, but the actual sound from the bus)Simple Instrument track--->BUS [effects]---> MASTER

Simple Instrument Tracks have a MIDI input, so you'd need to route to something with an audio input to record the synth output directly as audio.
David Baay
Arm the audio side of the simple instrument track using the arm button on the Audio tab of the Track Inspector.
Noel Borthwick
Just create a send from the effects bus to an aux track. Arm the aux track and record and you will get the wet output recorded. Simple Instrument track--->BUS [effects]---> MASTER Send | \---------> Aux track Also read this topic:http://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=Cakewalk&language=3&help=Mixing.13.html#1750199 In particular Capture the performance of guitar effects in real-time Here is the minimal configuration:

Below where you've cropped the screenshot there are tabs in the Track Inspector to switch between controls for the MIDI and Audio sides of a Simple Instrument track.
