This one is well worth a look and comes recommended by a few Kbrd pro people I work with. It is not a synth available amongst the many in teh Arturia Collections.

It was the Oxford Synthesizer Company OSCar who developed the synth back in the 80s. If you like a ballsy synth, and you like Ultravox, Orbital and Jarre then yes its worth the consideration. Chris Hugget ( RIP ) the designer of the original synth consulted on it. He did most of the Novation synths too.

I owned the MIDI version of this in the late 80s I think. Not very popular at the time so it only cost me about $150.  Certainly an unusual design for the time.

If this was VST3 then I'd consider it, but last time I checked it wasn't and they've only listed some of their plugins for upgrading, so there's a risk they might not.
