Cannot Play a Song I Had Been Playing solved

I recorded this song and have been playing it many times.  Now when I open it up and hit play I get this message. "Unable to create new audio file for recording".  

Did I click on something I wasn't suppose to?

Could be an issue with anti-virus software. Here's a thread on the old SONAR forum:

You're only hitting play but you have a track armed for recording, so that might account for the wording of the message.

Could be that the drive your audio is on is disconnected.

Nope.

You can have tracks armed for recording and play back your project all day long without hitting record.

Duh (kidding). I'm just saying the message wording doesn't make sense, but the armed track may have triggered the wording. Programming "logic."

If "Allow Arm Changes during playback/Record" is checked it preemptively prepares files for recording for all tracks with active inputs.
If something prevents the files being created, you will get that message.
