mark allemang Posted October 8, 2022 Posted October 8, 2022 Isn't there a way to move the now marker forward/backward using the keyboard. for example, move forward by measures or by quarter notes??? Mark
0 Promidi Posted October 8, 2022 Posted October 8, 2022 Yes..... I use the following. Either use keybindings to standard functions (via measure, markers, or arrangement section) Or, in the case of specific amounts quarter notes, half notes, etc, I write a CAL script and then create a keybindings to that CAL script.
0 sjoens Posted October 9, 2022 Posted October 9, 2022 Using ◄ key to move back: Left = Go to start of this measure Using ► key to move forward: Right = Go to end of this measure

The defaults are Ctrl+PageUp/Dn. Personally I change Previous/Next Measure to be just PageUp/Dn, and add Ctrl for Previous/Next Marker.
0 sjoens Posted October 11, 2022 Posted October 11, 2022 (edited) Hmm, Ctrl+PageUp/Dn are unassigned here. Not sure I changed them but nothing was assigned to Now Time either. Arrow keys seem pretty standard but some keyboards may be without so your assignments are probably more universal. Edited October 11, 2022 by sjoens
