sadicus
Like a chapter in a sad romance novel, there is a PeRV* that needs to be touched. Somewhere in a right click menu or drop-down there is a "last touched" option for MIDI note length, where might that be? It's lonely and needs to be loved and touched, to ensure proper note length. * (Piano Exclusive Roll View)
John Vere
Not at my computer but I do believe it’s in the control bar where you choose note duration some where on the left
David Baay
Yes, it's at the bottom of the Draw Duration dropdown in the Tools module. But the module size has to be 'large' to access it (image URL insert not working for some reason): https://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=Cakewalk&language=3&help=Tools.20.html
sjoens
Dismayed no shortcut key can be assigned to it like the others. Another FR for this & "L/T" indicator on the button! Edited September 6, 2022 by sjoens

sjoens
I did... It does... But none of the hot keys I assigned to it would work.
David Baay
As you noted, the button display does not change immediately. Last Touched operates in parallel with the default duration setting. The value in the button won't change until you actually touch an event that has a duration different from the default you have set. Another way to see that the hotkey is working is to check the dropdown and see that the check mark next to Last Touched is being toggled on and off. I did... It wasn't... Quadroople checked. But of course the power of Cakewalk Forums is at work today so, now it's working. ? Thanks!
