But when you're as dedicated to your customers as I am, then by golly, these are the sorts of sacrifices you have to make.

Sure, I take pride in going my own path with this permanent price-slashing thing. But it can be lonely being the leader in the cause of Pricing Justice. So if everyone else is having a Labor Day Sale, then ... well, I want to have one, too.

I think I remember Mike Greene doing a Black Friday Sale where he briefly RAISED the prices on all RealiTone libraries.  But you had to move fast-- or the prices would go back down again.

Maybe I dreamed this.  Does anybody remember if this really happened?

Don't remember that, but I wouldn't put it past him - he's got a unique sense of humour.

Can't remember who it was, but they did do some Halloween promotion - something along the lines of 'Halloween means scary prices' and increased prices (very temporarily).

It looks like a pretty decent sale on right now, actually.  I don't remember if the prices have been this low before - perhaps they have, but it's still a sale.  Plus, there's a pre-release price on a new string plugin: https://realitone.com/products/nightfall-pre-release

I also remember it. Mike is a lark.  He’s had some funny ads in the past.

Not sure if this was ever shared here, but at the start of the pandemic Mike offered refunds for people economically impacted. I forget the exact details of that now, but it was definitely one of those "above and beyond" moments.
