I registered the code in my eLicenser, at which point it showed up in my account, but no download link, either in the email OR in my account. So went to "Try now" and got the email which had a download link for the Steinberg Installer, which ODDLY, was not installed on my computer already, and then, after installing the download manager, was able to install the Software. Mind you, I did NOT have to prove ownership of 5 to buy the 6 upgrade. I don't know if that's because I own Cubase 10 Pro, or why...but it just sent me an activation code right away... I want the ARA 2 integration for BOTH CbB, Cubase, and S1 4, so the upgrade price was very reasonable compared to Magix upgrade price... Good to know lol ...i'm on V4
balinas
This just in from Steinberg: “SpectraLayers Pro 6 introductory offer extended Yes, you can still purchase SpectraLayers Pro 6 at a remarkable price! We have extended the introductory offer until September 30, 2019, giving you one more month to take advantage of this special promotion.” Hopefully in the mean time, another update will make SLv6 a bit more ARA2 friendly.
TheMaartian
I've been waiting and waiting for Acon Digital to offer a discounted Std->Pro cross-grade for Acoustica (to add spectral editing). Still $159 for the cross-grade. I got SL4 Pro with the Samplitude deal when SPlat splatted, but hated the UI. SL6 looks better, and with soft licensing available, and a $100 cross-grade price (oh, and ARA2 compatibility), I'm now a poorer man. I've spent more money on less. Time to uninstall SL4 and Acoustica Std. Props to @balinas for the SO4 usage tip! Edited August 30, 2019 by John Maar
